Zova (Sambucus nigra)

Zova je biljka specifičnog mirisa i oblika cvetova, uz to i vrlo lekovita. Svi njeni delovi, i koren i cvet i plod čuvaju zdravlje i vitalnost, pa nije loše da je ima u svakoj kući.

Poseduje etarsko ulje, u kome se nalazi čak četrdeset važnih sastojaka – flavonoidi, glikozidi, hlorogenska kiselina, sluz, tanini, pektini… U plodu su prisutni glikozidi, tanini, šećer, voćne kiseline, vitamin C, malo etarskog ulja… Sličnog sastava su i listovi, dok su svi delovi bogati mineralima, gvožđem, natrijumom, kalijumom i njihovim solima.
