Kopriva (Urtica dioica)

Kopriva se ubraja u biljke koje su najbolje sredstvo za čišćenje krvi. Značajne količine vitamina A, raznih minerala, biljnih hormona i enzima sekretina, koji povoljno deluje na povećanje broja crvenih krvnih zrnaca, čini koprivu naročito podesnom za sprovođenje tzv. prolećnih terapija u obliku sveže ceđenog soka ili salate od koprive.

Naučno je dokazano da ekstrakt koprive može sniziti sadržaj šećera u krvi, što se pre svega odnosi na uticaj enzima sekretina na žlezde, koje izlučuju sokove za razgradnju masti, belančevina i ugljenih hidrata, kao npr. žlezda gušterača (pankreas).
